Maine: LD 1473 to Increase Penalties for Abandonment and Better Regulate Breeding Kennels Passes Both Houses
Both houses of the legislature have passed LD 1473, a bill that will increase penalties for abandoning animals and that will prohibit operation of breeding kennels by persons convicted of animal cruelty. Please urge Governor Baldacci to sign LD 1473.
